Micky Finn's Liquor and Beverage Warehouse was pleased to host a recent visit by Carolina AM of WFXB FOX TV. The local news show was on site to take a look at the new Beverage Warehouse and to interview Sam Tinsley, the Executive Director of the Florence Wine and Food Festival. 

Tinsley described the new Micky Finn's location as a "phoenix rising from the ashes at this exit" because of the "unreal amount of cars every single day with the Buc-cee's traffic and I-95." 

"They've got everything that a lot of states north of us do not have," Tinsley added. "So this is a great destination." 

"It doesn't really matter if you're from out of state or not. They've got stuff everywhere. From beer, wine, spirits, non-alcoholics, you can get it all right here. And this is a destination store. It is worth the travel from anywhere around the Pee Dee," Tinsley said.

Tinsley also noted that Micky Finn's is donating all the wine for the Florence Wine and Food Festival, scheduled from April 4-6, 2024. "What makes us special," Tinsley said, "is Micky Finn's involvement. They are donating every drop of wine that we're pouring at all eight events this year which gives us the benefit of being able to select the best of the best out there."

"You're not going go to this festival and find something you're going to find in every grocery store," he added. 

The Florence Wine and Food Festival supports Help 4 Kids, a Florence County charity. As stated on their website:

Each week hundreds of children come to school on Monday morning hungry , irritable and not ready to learn because they had no food on the weekend while they were home. Help 4 Kids Florence is a program that supplies food packs to public schools in Florence County. Each Friday children at risk of being hungry get sent home with a bag of food for the weekend, providing them food for Saturday and Sunday. Our goal is that these children return to school on Monday rested, fed, and ready to learn.
